polar express train

"On Christmas Eve many years ago I laid quietly in my bed. I did not rustle the sheets, I breathed slowly and silently. I was listening for a sound I was afraid I'd never hear: the sound of Santa's sleigh bells". Thursday afternoon we made our way over to Mt. Rainer in our pajamas, to experience a magical train ride on the Polar Express. We boarded the train after the conductor said, "ALL ABOARD." We started on our journey in Elbe, Washington, and made our way over to Mineral near Washington State Mt. Rainer National Park. On the way we enjoyed cookies and hot cocoa served by dancing waitresses, and listened to a reading of the Polar Express. Upon arrival at the North Pole, Santa boarded the train and gave Zoey and Asher the first gift of Christmas, a SILVER BELL. It was definitely an experience to remember.
