15 months

Zoey Herzog is 15 months today! She weighs around 19 pounds & is 30.5 inches long. Wearing 12-18 month clothing, and is in size 3 diapers. This past month I feel like Zoey has become more of a toddler...it is so cute!

Valentine's day

This Valentine's day was a great one for the Herzog's. It started off with me going to The Joffrey Ballet to take a couple of ballet classes for the first time since the summer (not very happy that I took that much time off). I was so happy to move, and do what I love again!

The day only got better when I came home to my sweet husband, and beautiful daughter Zoey. We stayed home for the rest of the day, made chocolate covered strawberries, watched movies, and spent quality time together as a family!

Later that night Mark and I had dinner reservations for one of our favorite restaurants, The Capitol Grill. We put Zoey down for the night, babysitters came over, and off we went on our date. It was an amazing night full of delicious food, laughs, and kisses with my forever Valentine!

14 months

Zoey is 14 months old, 18 pounds 13 ounces, and 30 inches long. She is in 12-18 month clothes, and hair is growing...I finally got it into a ponytail for the first time. It's adorable!

13 months

Zoey is 13 months old, 18 pounds 6 ounces, and 30 inches long. She is in size 3 diapers, 12-18 months clothing, and busy as ever. We are in the process of teaching her how to go down the stairs (just the thought of her falling down the stairs at one point makes mama so scared). Her hair is finally growing more, and even has a little curl. So cute!

Zoey is ONE!!!

 

On November 26th we were blessed with our 6 pound princess, Zoey Herzog. The moment I laid eyes on her I felt the love from our Heavenly Father who blessed us with our baby girl. Everyday I feel blessed to have a healthy, growing, and happy baby. You made me a mama, and I love you so unconditionally I could never put it into words. This past year plays in my mind like a movie, and I wish I could freeze time and do it all over again. Cheering you on for your first steps. Your baby feet, and little rolls on your legs. The way you get excited about playing with a new toy or seeing mama and dada. The way you squeal with excitement when I come get you after a nap. It truly is a joy to be your mother. You have made this year one of the happiest of my life. Happy FIRST birthday my sweet little adventurous Zoey.

First Birthday Party: Zoey Herzog

We celebrated our little girls special day with a "Once upon a time" princess themed birthday party! The party was at my family's house in Utah where several of our family and friends join to celebrate, and Zoey met her great grandparents on both sides for the first time.

 

Most of the decorations for Zoey's party I made, and got the ideas from Pinterest. The colors for her party were light pink, cream, and gold.

Zoey's princess cake was designed and made at Granite Bakery, and I loved how it turned out! The crown I bought online at http://www.bhldn.com/.

Zoey had two dresses and I loved them both. Gigi got the first one for her from Nordstroms, and the second one was from Target. Her crown is from a etsy shop lovecrushbowtique. 

After she got to visit with all of the guests, it was CAKE SMASH TIME!

She didn't know what to do with her cupcake, whether she should be eating it or not...it was so cute!

Now that she showed interested in the cupcake and started shoving it all into her mouth, the camera's came out!

At the end of the party, we all watched our little girl "open" her gifts. She loved helping rip the paper and seeing what was inside. It was adorable!
 

Thank you to our family and friends who came out to celebrate Zoey's FIRST birthday party. It was a special day, and we loved that you were apart of it. We are excited to see what this next year brings, and the milestones she will reach. We love you Zoey Herzog, and happy 1st birthday!
